This 3 day introductory course on screen printing with natural dyes will give you the opportunity to learn how to transform your own drawn or found images into a motif and design for print, as well as a good working knowledge of preparing natural dyes and mordants so they can be used for screen printing.

 

Marilyn Lee
As a graduate of the Alberta College of Art and Design with a major in Textiles, Marilyn has taught at the Kootenay School of the Arts @ Selkirk College in the Textiles department since 1999. In 2006 Marilyn received a British Columbia Achievement Award for her work in textiles. Her work has also been featured in many publications including Canadian Living, Vancouver Sun, the Globe & Mail, Style at Home, and Canadian House and Home.
